Is Too Much Honesty Hurting Your Relationship

As much as we value honesty in all relationships, there are times when too much honesty can cause its own set of problems. Now Im not advocating deliberately withholding information in your relationship, but depending on the timing and circumstance there are times when "complete" honesty is overrated. Of course one persons version of how much honesty they need in their relationship does not always match up with their partners honesty requirements, but there are still certain guidelines that can help you decide what information needs to be revealed and when it needs to be revealed.

Too Much, Too Soon- Most people have things about themselves that are very personal that are difficult to share with others. These are the kind of topics that need to be shared slowly as your relationship progresses from casual to serious. During the "getting to know you stage" these things should never be shared because they are likely to overwhelm the person that is trying to get to know the basics about you and you will feel embarrassed about revealing these things if this revelation does drive the other person away. For example, if you were abused in your past, this is important for your partner to know as your relationship becomes serious. Even though its an important part of your life, it is not something that a person that you are recently dating needs to know. You need to get past learning whether you have similar personalities and likes and dislikes before you delve into the big issues.

Think before you spew your opinion- Everyone has an opinion, but sometimes expressing them is potentially hurtful. For example, if you point out that hes wearing his ratty old shirt again or that he loaded the dishwasher incorrectly, or he points out that he liked your hair better before you got it cut, then you probably didnt ask yourself what the effect of saying this would be. If the opinion that you are about to express is not one that will be received with happiness by your partner, then you should keep it to yourself until you find a way of expressing it that does not sound like criticism. Thinking before you spew out a negative opinion will save you numerous arguments, because most times when we blurt out an opinion that is really a criticism we are met with a criticism in return, and an argument is not far behind.

Dont Ask and Your Partner Wont Have to Tell- There are certain "loaded questions" that you should never ask in your relationship unless you are a glutton for punishment. Questions that fall into this category are ones like: "Am I prettier than your ex-girlfriend?" "Do you love me more than you loved him?" and the infamous "Does this make me look fat?" All these questions have only one "right answer" and even then, your partner will need to carefully craft an answer to avoid saying the wrong thing. Unless you are trying to deliberately assess your partners ability to tap dance around delicate issues, no good can come from asking these questions.

So yes, honesty is vital to any relationship, but so is knowing when to keep quiet. Knowing the proper timing to reveal sensitive information about yourself and making sure that your "honesty" is not just criticism are two important considerations before you proceed with what you are about to share. And of course, sometimes the best way to avoid the topics that are irrelevant and potentially hurtful to your relationship is to be proactive by not asking any of the questions that you dont really want answered.

INTRODUCTION TO LAW OF ATTRACTION

Law Of Attraction 101 !!

The Law of Attraction is usually described as a "universal law" (like gravity is also a universal law) that delivers into your life whatever you focus on the most. A negative focus will attract mostly negative experiences, while a positive focus will attract mostly positive experiences.

Sounds simple enough, right? Think positive, get positive. Think negative, get negative. But there’s a little more to it than that.

Current knowledge about the Law of Attraction reveals a clear connection between our thoughts, emotions, beliefs, expectations, and the world around us.

Basically, here’s how it works:

Thoughts + Emotions + Beliefs + Expectations = Reality
Let’s break down each of these components to better understand how they work together.

Thoughts

Your thoughts provide the general structure for your reality. You perceive your surroundings and gear your emotions according to your thoughts. When you think positively, you usually “feel” positively.

In other words, positive thoughts make you feel good, and negative thoughts make you feel bad.

One common misconception is that your thoughts create your reality. Your thoughts actually don’t create anything by themselves.

Can you imagine if you “created” everything you thought about? Your nightmares would all come true, as well as every fear and worry you’ve ever had! No thank you!

In actuality, your thoughts need to be infused with emotion in order to be formed in physical reality.

Emotions
Your emotions could accurately be described as the "fuel" that gives life to your thoughts. When you hold a specific thought or idea in your mind and generate strong emotions for or about it – you bring it into your life!

Emotions are the driving force behind your ability to create your reality.

If you take nothing else away from reading this page, the MOST important thing I want you to understand is the absolute raw power that your emotions hold!

This is why negative thoughts can be so destructive. When you focus on negative things and emit negative emotions about them – you attract them! Likewise, when you think positive thoughts and emit positive emotions about them – you attract them!

Beliefs and Expectations

Your beliefs and expectations act as gatekeepers for your reality. No matter how hard you try to think and feel positively, a limiting belief or negative expectation has the power to BLOCK what you’re trying to attract. It doesn’t matter how many affirmations you recite, or how strongly you visualize yourself having something you want – if you hold limiting beliefs about it, your subconscious mind will NOT allow you to have it! You either don’t believe it’s possible or don’t believe you deserve it, so it will not be possible for you.

Why RC Games Are So Popular

Technology moves constantly forward and now it is integrated into many industries. Indeed, even toys had become more "intelligent", advanced and people are interested to create, develop and buy them. It is a common thing today to see adults buying remote control helicopters, monster trucks, tanks or sports cars. "Whats so strange about it?" you may ask. Well, the thing is that it is very strange to see an adult playing around with a toy car as theyre designed for children of 4-7. And, when people see an adult crawling around the house or backyard with it, they could think that he/she is a weird one.

When youll have a walk in a mall next time, try visiting toys section and youll definitely see that many people really like radio controlled toys. Thats right, such toys are no longer just for kids and they are adored by people of different ages: from teens to twenties and even forties. Some say that its something that was meant for boys, others say that its like playing a video game, such as RC game (Remote Control game series), Stunt GP or Re-Volt in real life. But, all those people agree on one thing: its a great hobby, it is fun and its definitely a must-have.

There are many reasons to have such hobby: RC cars are easy to control (actually, anyone can handle them) and they have strong engines, which become more powerful with each new generation of remote control toys (if you can still call them that way). There are many shops, where you can buy them (including the online ones) and there are many companies that produce them. Of course, it doesnt mean that it is safe to buy from just anyone of them, as there plenty of crooks even in this industry. A good way to choose the right RC car that will last is to study the market and concentrate on recognized brands. You may be lured by the low prices (especially in the internet stores) but it is not advisable to buy anything from unknown brands as the quality of merchandise will be poor and cars will not function even after minor damage or malfunction.

Also, try to evaluate the purpose for your RC car, especially if its your first radio controlled car. Knowing where youll take it is as important as choosing the right tires for a real car. Basically, there are two kinds of RC cars: some cars are great for off-road, while others are great on more or less smooth surfaces, like pavement or parquet, etc...

It is very important to know the purpose of the carbefore you buy it because driving the car on the wrong surface will most likely destroy it (itll be like driving an F1 car on the rocky track).
